Tony is a very patient driving instructor, with a wicked sense of humour. I would recommend Tony to anyone keen to learn to drive, I passed last week, something I thought I would never be able to achieve, but with Tonys guidance, and clear directions done it! "Tony was an absolutely amazing instructor, he took me from being nervous and daunted by driving in my first lesson, to passing with only 3 minors, first time, in just over two months. Tony was fantastic to learn to drive with, he kept me calm built my confidence and made me laugh. learning to drive was very daunting for me but tony soon made me realised that there is no need to feel daunted but to keep positive. Tony is extremely good at making you remember things by giving them his own charm to it.

I would just like to thank Tony for his patients, good sense of humour and philosophical approach to teaching me how to drive safely and confidently.

After many failed attempts to get over my severe nerves and fear of driving with past driving tutors, I was lucky enough to have found Tony who invested loads of energy analysing exactly where I was going wrong with my driving, not only technically, but psychologically.

He simply deconstructed my bad driving habits and taught me from scratch, which really helped me regain my confidence and thankfully after taking Tony's approach to safe, forward thinking driving I passed my test first time with only three minor blips...

I have tested the patience of most and completely broken the spirit of the lesser willed.

I HATED driving with a sweaty-palmed, queasy-stomached vitriol.

Tony has been an absolute revelation. He first built my confidence and then got me past my test, all within a very reasonable timescale.He is firm when required, funny the rest of the time, flexible, knowledgeable and, above all, a complete and utter consummate professional.He must have ice for blood such is his coolness under pressure.

Tony's patience and humour has helped me a huge amount on my personal challenge of learning how to drive.

I have been learning to drive since January 2008 with an initial instructor that wasn't very helpful. He left and I had to basically start from scratch with Tony.

I was a very unsafe driver and scared Tony half to death on my first lesson,

but he accepted the challenge and due to that we have both thrived.

After having a previous instructor and things not going well, I decided to switch to TJ's after seeing the renowned, sparkling yellow mini flying around Falmouth!

After meeting Tony in my first lesson, things just clicked! He was calm, funny, encouraging and very patient with me and with the bad habits I had (some of which, he'll be delighted to know I still do, just for fun - including the old gear stick wobble!)

Tony made driving even more fun and personalized than it already was for me and the lessons where varied, suited to my style of driving and of course always flexible; my confidence grew, it showed through my driving and of course, I passed!!
